LAMINAR restrained fittings family, which can be couplings, flange adaptors or end caps, are made to resist pipe end pull-out force due to thrust forces caused by internal pressure in the pipe.
These thrust forces occur wherever there is a change in direction (Bend) or elevation. The overall pipe-fitting design arrangement will incorporate the Universal Restrained products for various applications. Suitable for both metal and plastic pipes.
These fittings boast restraining lugs that are individually screwed onto the pipe, thus forming the restrained connection. The manufacturer produces the Universal Restrained Fittings using Ductile Iron (DI) and coats them with Fusion Bonded Epoxy. They also use EPDM as the material for the gasket. Other options are available on request.
